August 2009 Chapter Meeting
Predictive Project Management - Strategies for Avoiding the OS Phase® Event Date: Tuesday, August 11th, 2009 at 6:30pm
Topic: Robert Baim is author of the popular project management book entitled, Avoiding the OS Phase®. In his presentation Bob will discuss the importance of choosing project management processes and tools with attributes that are simple, credible and most importantly predictive. He will describe how these Avoidance Attributes™ can become a foundation for everything we do as project management professionals. The OS Phase™ is quickly becoming a standard phrase to describe failures experienced on projects and even those recently experienced on Wall Street and the global financial markets. The OS Phase™ is the point in time where everything appears to be going well but then hits the wall. The OS Phase™ is that point in a project where the true project status is revealed and the project team is forced to admit that they are in trouble. Register online
