Elections: Elections Chairperson to present open Board positions and nominations. Chairperson will faciltate member voting and present final results at end of meeting. You must be a member of PMI-SWVA in good standing, and attend the chapter meeting to vote. If you cannot attend the meeting, you may use a proxy to to cast your vote. PMI-SWVA members at remote sites can also vote, facilitated by an Elections Committee representative at their location. The Elections Committee representatives for Lynchburg and Tri-cities will be announced shortly. Topic: 7 Ways to Leverage SharePoint for Project Management Success In this interactive presentation, Dux Raymond Sy will impart the practical knowledge of how SharePoint can address common project management challenges such as: Inefficient communication among stakeholders, poor document management practices and undefined project collaboration standards that can compromise project success. SharePoint provides a framework that can empower project managers to create a standards-based Project management Information System (PMIS). In this presentation participants will be able to: • Identify the benefits of leveraging SharePoint as a PMIS. • Quantify the advantages of using SharePoint as a PMIS compared to other tools. • Enhance project management, team collaboration and communication with SharePoint.
