Topic:  Effective Project Communication

Alex will discuss the different communication channels and how they can affect a project.  He will also provide real world examples from projects that he has managed.

Monthly meeting will be held in the Brickyard Training Room at the Advance Auto Parts Store Support Center, 5008 Airport Road, Roanoke, VA  24012.

The meeting begins at 6:00 PM with a light dinner and networking. Chapter business meeting begins at 6:15 PM and the program starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 7:30 PM.

I have graduated in 1987 from Taganrog State, University of Radio Engineering and Electronics.   I have a  Bachelor degree in computer science.  

Since 1987, I worked as a Software Developer and Senior Programmer Analyst, Project manager.  I have 20 years of experience in IT.  In 1994 immigrated to USA from Ukraine and worked for 2 years in the software development consulting company.  Since 1996, I have worked at Advance Auto Parts Inc in Roanoke, VA.  I worked as a  Sr. Programmer /Analyst with Financial and Supply Chain system applications.   I completed my PMP certification in 2006.   I have done Project Management and Development work for the last 2.5 years.  I have had the opprotunity to managed several company projects.
