February 2013 Chapter Meeting
"Watergile" a hybrid of Waterfall and Agile – A Realistic View
Speaker: Keith Walker, PMP
Reminder New Venue - Hollins University
We’ve all been exposed to the latest and hottest technology buzz. Within the Project Management discipline, Waterfall, RUP, and Agile are among the most frequently used methodologies. These methodologies have been around for years, but adoption rate is still teetering. You may know the differences, but when do you apply which method?
This is just one opinion, the speaker’s (Keith Walker, PMP), on flexibility without compromising your project integrity.
The intention of his presentation is to walk through the tenants of “WaterGile”. And show how to apply some of both Methodologies for a blended solution producing higher customer satisfaction and more precise delivery.
Keith is currently Manager of Business Intelligence at Advance Auto Parts and is a Certified Project Management Professional with over twenty years of experience, building and leading effective projects and teams.
