Meet Michael Womack
Mike has been a member of PMI since 2004, received his certification in Project Management (PMP) in 2005, and a board member of the PMI-Southwest Virginia Chapter since 2010. He has over 25 years combined experience in academia and business relating to project based learning, technology consulting, project management, and the commercial arts. Currently, he is Team Leader for the Academic Technologies Services Group for Carilion Clinics, was co-founder of Experi-ED Learning Concepts, which specialized in linking business with education to provide enhanced learning opportunities to higher ed students through project-based learning. Mike also has served as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Consultant for the County of Roanoke, VA. He received his Associate’s degree at VWCC (Virginia Western Community College), a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology from Capella University, and is continuing his advanced studies toward his Master’s degree in Instructional Technology.
